Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Vouchr — the iOS app and thevouchrapp.com — operated by Brecklabs LLC ("Vouchr", "we"). By creating an account you agree to them. The plain-English version is in bold at the start of each section.
1. What Vouchr is
We connect clients with independent service professionals. The pro — not Vouchr — provides the service. Providers on Vouchr are independent businesses. Vouchr facilitates discovery, booking, messaging and deposits, but is not a party to the service agreement between a client and a provider, and isn't responsible for the quality, safety, timing or outcome of services.
2. Accounts
One account per person, tied to your phone number. Be who you say you are. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to enter a contract for services. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account); deletion is permanent.
3. Bookings, deposits & cancellations
- Deposits: booking a time may require a deposit, charged when the provider is requested. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- If the provider declines your request, your deposit is refunded automatically.
- Cancellations: individual providers set their own cancellation windows and no-show policies; they're shown before you book. Deposits for late cancellations or no-shows may be retained by the provider.
- The remaining balance is settled directly between you and the provider at the visit.
4. Vouches & reviews
Vouches are earned, never bought. A vouch can only be posted for a booking the provider marked completed. Attempting to game vouches — fake bookings, paid vouches, self-vouching through second accounts — is grounds for removal. Review replies may be drafted with AI assistance; the provider is responsible for what they post.
5. Content & conduct
Post only what's yours, keep it legal, be decent. You retain ownership of content you post (photos, bios, messages, vouches) and grant Vouchr a license to display it in the service. Not allowed: illegal content or services, harassment, hate, sexual content involving minors of any kind, spam, impersonation, infringing content, or off-platform payment scams. Every profile and chat has Report and Block. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content or accounts that break these rules — repeat or severe violations mean a permanent ban.
6. SMS
Signing in uses one-time passcodes sent by SMS to the number you provide. Message frequency: one per sign-in attempt. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Details: SMS opt-in documentation.
7. Disclaimers & liability
Vouchr is provided as-is. To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amounts you paid through Vouchr in the twelve months before the claim. We're not liable for disputes between clients and providers, though we may help mediate deposit disputes at our discretion.
8. Changes & termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in the app, and continued use means acceptance. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using Vouchr and delete your account at any time.
